BLODGETT, RUTH, the daughter of Joseph Snow Blodgett and
Eunice French was born in Plymouth 12/13/1813.
She died 1/9/1830, at age 17. She
is buried in Turnpike Cemetery

HICKOCK, ANDREW, died at the age of 83 on 7/18/1831.
Another source lists his date of death as 1836.
He was married to Sarah (Blodgett) Blodgett, the widow of Ebenezer
Blodgett and the daughter of James Blodgett.
Andrew is buried in the Turnpike Cemetery.
PENNIMAN, NATHAN, was 63 years old when he died
6/12/1831. Buried in Turnpike Cemetery.
WHEELER, HANNAH (ODELL), the first wife of William
Nevins Wheeler, died 1/5/1831. She
was 47 years old. She was the
mother of five children. She is
buried in the Lower Intervale Cemetery.

BLAKE, WILLIAM R., the nephew of William Blake, died on
9/27/1832 at the age of 26. He was
the son of Hezekiah Blake and Susannah Graves.
He is buried in the Lower Intervale Cemetery.
CURRIER, MARY (SMITH), the wife of Daniel Currier, died
9/19/1832. She was 69 at the time
of her death. She may have been
called “Polly,” instead of Mary, by her family and close friends.
GOULD, MARTHA JANE, daughter of William Gould (Goold)
and Deborah Emerson, died 11/9/1832. She
is buried in the Hunt Cemetery on Fairgrounds Road.
GOULD, JOSEPH, son of William and Deborah (Emerson)
Gould (Goold), died 11/16/1832, one week after the death of his sister, Martha
Jane. He is also buried in the Hunt
Cemetery. Joseph was three years
old.
GOOLD, WILLIAM, age three, the son of Daniel and Hannah
(Merrill) Goold, died 4/12/1832. He
is buried in the Hunt Cemetery.
GOOLD, PETER, age 11 months, died 1/11/1832.
He was the son of Daniel Goold and Hannah Merrill.
Like his brother, he is buried in the Hunt Cemetery on Fairgrounds Road.
REED, MARTHA (FLETCHER), the widow of Joseph Reed, died
1/5/1832. She was 84 years old.

CUMMINGS, RUTH (GEORGE), the first wife of Jonathan
Cummings, died 8/28/1833.
JOHNSON, ABIGAIL, the first wife of Simeon Johnson, died
9/27/1833.

BLODGETT, JOSEPH SNOW, died 6/15/1834.
He was 67 years old. He is
buried in Turnpike Cemetery. He was married to Eunice French.
He was a farmer. Joseph and
Eunice had eight children; three were born in Campton and five were born in
Plymouth.
CUMMINGS, LEONARD, died 5/2/1834.
He was 55 years old. He was
born in 1779, the son of Captain Jotham Cummings.
He married Hannah Cheney 7/14/1801.
She remarried after his death to Thomas Stevens of Rumney. Leonard and
Hannah were the parents of seven children.
Their first son, Leonard, left home in his youth and was lost at sea. Another son, Daniel was a locomotive engineer and was killed
in a railroad accident in 1848.
HANNAH LUCINDA, daughter of Rueben B. and Sarah H.
Locke, died at the age of three on 5/31/1834.(we are unable to find the surname
for this child or her parents.
DEARBORN, MARY ANN, the oldest daughter of John and Mary
Dearborn, died 12/9/1834 at the age of 20 years and two months.
REED, JOSEPH HENRY, five year old son of Joseph Reed and
Susan Cummings, died 1/27/1834.

BAYLEY, MIRIAM (SNOW), the wife of Solomon Bayley, died
5/16/1835 at the age of 74.
SANBORN, JOSEPH, died at the age of 72 on 7/22/1835.

ADAMS, JOSEPH ALBA HALE, died at the age of two months
on 3/18/1836. He was the infant son
of John Adams and Cordelia Bayley (Bailey).
BLAKE, SUSANNAH (GRAVES), the wife of Hezekiah Blake,
died 8/30/1836. She was the mother of two of his three children.
He married twice more after her death.
The family was poor and for several years after 1838 he was not taxed.
Susannah’s son, William R. Blake died in 1932 at the age of 26.
BLODGETT, ELIZA (FERRIN), the first wife of Moses
Blodgett, died 6/7/1836 at the age of 36. She was the mother of two children.
CHAPMAN, NOAH, died at the age of 64 on 8/17/1836.
He was married to Abigail Currier, the daughter of Daniel Currier.
He is buried in the Lower Intervale Cemetery.
DEARBORN, ELIZABETH, infant daughter of Samuel Dearborn
and Candace Sargent (Perkins) died 10/21/1836. She was the granddaughter of Samuel Dearborn and Elizabeth
Bartlett.
(1837)
BAYLEY, SOLOMON, died 12/16/1837.
He was born 2/11/1755, the son of Humphrey Bayley. He came to Plymouth in
1789 and was an early settler on the Chamberlain farm near Pike hill.
He served four enlistments in the American Revolution and was a
pensioner. He and his wife had at
least eight children.
CASS, MARTHA ELIZABETH, the daughter of Benjamin Cass
and Sarah True, died at the age of six on 4/3/1837. She was the ninth and last child born to them.
CHAPMAN, ABIGAIL (CURRIER), the widow of Noah Chapman,
died 9/15/1837, just 13 months after the death of her husband.
Her headstone gives her age as 67, however, Congregational Church records
give her age as 47. No children are listed in Stearns History for Abigail and
Noah.
DEARBORN, RUTH (GILL), wife of Benjamin Dearborn, died
9/23/1837. She was the mother of
six children and was his first wife. Benjamin
was a farmer and a grower of hops on Dearborn Hill in Plymouth
MORSE, ABIGAIL (FLANDERS) COLE, was the first wife of
Samuel Morse, son of Samuel and Sarah (Webster). Abigail was also the widow of Nathaniel Cole.
She died 9/3/1837. She was 36 years old. She had a 13 year old son, Lyman, from
her marriage to Nathaniel. Their
daughter, who was born in 1821 died young.
She and Samuel Morse did not have any children during their four-year
marriage.
SANBORN, MARY, the widow of Joseph Sanborn, who died in
1835, passed away at age 73 on 4/24/1837.

BARTLETT, SARGENT, died 11/17/1838.
He was the son of Stephen Bartlett and was born 10/20/1777. He and his
wife, the former Sarah Goold married 8/19/1804 and had five children.
HICKOCK, SARAH (BLODGETT) BLODGETT, the widow of Andrew
Hickock died 1/24/1838. She was
previously widowed by Ebenezer Blodgett and she was the daughter of James
Blodgett. Burial was in Turnpike
Cemetery.

ADAMS, CARLOS A., the infant son of John Adams and his
wife, Cordelia Bayley (Bailey). Little
Carlos died 1/15/1839 at the tender age of one year.
CURRIER, MARTHA, 19 year old daughter of Daniel and Ruth
(Webster) Currier, died 5/30/1839. She
is buried in the Lower Intervale Cemetery.
GEORGE, ABIGAIL (DEARBORN), the second wife (and widow)
of William George and the daughter of Benjamin Dearborn, died 4/8/1839.
She had previously been married to Peter Hobart, Thomas McClure, and Rev.
Samuel Currier. She is buried in the Cookville Cemetery.
REED, JANE, the second child, and oldest daughter of
Joseph Reed and Susan Cummings, died at the age of 23 on 11/8/1839.
